We take old primitive chairs whose legs have seen better days and remove the legs and stretchers then cut part of the seat off. We decorate them with grapevines or other seasonal materials. These hang from a couple of pegs or can be permanently fixed to the wall. The painted styles are dry brushed and stenciled. No two are the same. Various styles of chairs are used (slant back, ladderbacks, bow backs, etc...)

This set of shaker boxes are made in the original manner, by hand, and fastened with small pegs without any glue. The tight fitting joints portray the detail and craftsmanship that goes into creating a nest of these boxes. These boxes come in maple, cherry, ash, or can be painted in milk paint colors and antiqued. The largest box measures 8 3/4" X 6" while the smallest measures 3 3/4" X 2 1/4". Use to store your sewing materials like the shakers did or just purely for display. All boxes made to order. Allow 3-4 weeks for delivery

We make these quilted stars out of old quilts that have a nice pattern that will show on the front of the star. We form these on a wooden backing and attach a hanger to hang it from. Very different!

Shown here is the narrow bowl rack in mustard with a wainscot back, a wide style rack in red with the ceiling tile back, as well as our brand new curly maple bowl rack. The painted version can be any color you prefer however they look best in the traditional colors of mustard, red, black, or antique white.
